RaveHacks helps you discover events, plan your weekend, and make better-informed choices. These terms explain the limits of that information and the rules for using the site.
1. Using RaveHacks
These terms govern your use of ravehacks.com and its articles, reviews, event listings, and planning tools. “RaveHacks,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the website operator. Use the site lawfully and respect the rights of other people.
To the extent an agreement is formed under applicable law, these terms apply to that use. Nothing here removes a statutory right or replaces a separate agreement that expressly governs a transaction or service. Our Privacy Policy explains data practices; these terms are not consent to optional tracking or marketing.
2. Event information can change
RaveHacks is an information and discovery resource, not the organizer of an event simply because we list it. Lineups, dates, set times, venues, ticket availability, prices, age requirements, entry rules, accessibility arrangements, and camping policies can change, sometimes without notice.
Check the organizer, venue, and authorized ticket seller before purchasing, traveling, or relying on an event detail. A listing does not guarantee an event will take place, an artist will perform, a ticket is available, or you will be admitted. Labels such as “confirmed” describe the source information available at the time, not a continuing guarantee.
Maps, weather information, travel suggestions, and planning tools are aids, not navigation, weather-warning, or emergency services. Historical weather does not predict the conditions of a particular weekend. Follow current official instructions and venue policies.
3. Health, safety, and harm-reduction information
Our content is general education, not individualized medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, legal advice, or a replacement for a qualified professional. Reading or contacting RaveHacks does not establish a clinician–patient relationship.
Harm-reduction content does not encourage unlawful conduct and cannot make substance use safe. No article, supplement, hydration product, test, or planning tool should be understood as preventing overdose, contamination, injury, or other harm. Supplements can have contraindications and interactions; product mentions are not personalized recommendations.
For an emergency, contact local emergency services or on-site medical personnel immediately. Do not wait for a reply from RaveHacks or delay professional help because of something you read here.
4. Reviews, affiliates, and related businesses
Some links may earn RaveHacks a commission or other compensation when you make a qualifying purchase or take another qualifying action. Sponsored content and material commercial relationships should be identified where the recommendation appears. See our Affiliate Disclosure for additional information.
RaveHacks may feature businesses with which its operator has an ownership or other commercial relationship. Those relationships should be disclosed alongside the relevant recommendation.
Ratings, recommendations, and awards are editorial assessments based on the information and methods described in the relevant article. They are not product-safety certifications or guarantees of a result. Prices, specifications, inventory, offers, and discount codes may change.
Purchases through linked stores or ticketing services are with those sellers under their terms, unless a specific transaction expressly states otherwise. They administer payment, delivery, returns, refunds, and event-ticket conditions. Our role and any responsibility imposed on us by law are not changed merely by linking to them.
5. Content ownership and permitted use
RaveHacks’s original articles, graphics, branding, and other protectable content belong to us or our licensors. Artist names, event names, logos, photographs, and other third-party material remain the property of their respective owners. A listing or reference does not imply an endorsement or affiliation.
You may read the site, share links, and use our planning tools for personal purposes. You may also exercise quotation, fair-use, accessibility, and other rights provided by applicable law. Republishing substantial portions of our original editorial content, reselling it, or using our branding to imply an endorsement requires permission unless the law permits that use.
Do not bypass access controls, exploit vulnerabilities, distribute malware, impersonate others, harvest personal information unlawfully, or use automated requests in a way that disrupts the site. These rules do not prohibit ordinary search-engine indexing that respects our published access instructions.
6. Messages, corrections, and contributions
Send only material you have the right to share. Ordinary support or privacy messages are not automatically licensed for publication.
When you intentionally submit an article, photograph, review, or other contribution for publication, you authorize us to review it and communicate with you about it. Any publication permission, attribution, payment, and license scope should be agreed separately. We are not obligated to publish or pay for an unsolicited submission.
We may review, correct, update, or remove editorial material. Contact us about an inaccurate listing or a rights concern, identifying the material and why it should be reviewed.
7. Third-party services and saved tools
External websites, embedded content, maps, music services, and newsletter providers may have their own terms and privacy practices. We cannot guarantee their availability, accuracy, accessibility, or security, but this does not exclude responsibilities applicable law places on us.
Tools are provided for convenience. Browser-stored packing lists and saved events can be lost when site data is cleared, a device changes, or a browser blocks storage. Keep another copy of anything important to your trip. A checklist does not guarantee that it includes every item you need or that an item is allowed at a particular event.
8. Availability and limits of responsibility
We work to make the site useful, but information can contain errors and services can be interrupted. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, RaveHacks is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site, reliance on an inaccurate listing, service unavailability, or a transaction with an independent third party. This is not a waiver of liability that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any injury, consumer claim, or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Mandatory consumer protections and other non-waivable rights remain in effect. The laws that apply determine the enforceability of these terms.
9. Changes, concerns, and contact
We may update these terms and change, suspend, or discontinue site features. The updated date identifies the current version. Material changes will receive additional notice where required; we will not treat a revision as retroactively removing a right that has already accrued.
For questions, corrections, permissions, or a concern about the site, email [email protected]. Contacting us to resolve a concern does not prevent you from using a legal remedy available to you. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent the law permits.
